Hard Work or Business-in-a-Box?

Too many affiliate marketers enter this industry hoping for a fast way to make money online…

And that’s why they get sucked into those get rich quick schemes so often.

You have to work hard to build a sustainable online business.

It’s a mistake to think that just because the products are already there for you – that you won’t have to do much work to make a steady income… because it takes a lot of work.

There are two parts to a sales funnel…

Good products and a marketing plan leading up to selling them.

With affiliate marketing – you don’t have to create a product – it’s done for you – along with the sales copy.

You just have to find it.

But you have tons of traffic and list building tasks to do.

Become a student of your niche.

Spy on your prospective customers in forums.

Pay attention to their burning questions – especially the ones that keep cropping up.

Join those forums and contribute good, solid advice.

Get a reputation as someone who is an authority but is generous at the same time.

Then you can point consumers to your website or squeeze page – where you discuss the subject at hand in depth.

Of course… you offer the affiliate product(s) there too.

But you give tons of value in exchange for that traffic.

The real secret of how to make money fast is to devote yourself to your current as well as future, loyal customers.

However…

Having said all of the above…

There are ways to reduce your workload and speed things up.

That’s because finding a good affiliate product can be the closest thing to a plug and play business in Internet Marketing.

Think about it this way…

Not only do you have a great product and sales letter…

But the very well planned programs are jammed with ready-to-go support materials.

These can include banner ads of all shapes and sizes…

Text links…

Ready-to-go emails…

Blog posts…

And even a short report that the affiliate can use as a freebie incentive for autoresponder sign-ups.

You can certainly make your own – but why do that if you can find a set up all ready to go?

It pays to look into the affiliate programs simply because a good one saves you time not having to design and write all of the promotional materials.

Even the blog posts just need to be tweaked a bit to make them different from others like them.

It will save you time and money in the end if you take the time to look for a strong affiliate marketing program.

And… you can always promote more than 1 product to the same subscriber.

Just make sure your main promotion is for the product offered by the seller providing you with the materials.
